In commemoration of the United States Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) 40th Annual Legislative Weekend, the California CBC Delegation and IAAAACAME International Black Chamber of Commerce with partner countries Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo would cordially like to invite you to a welcome reception, for you and your Delegation attending the CBC, Thursday, September 16, 2010, from 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at the Renaissance Hotel located at 999 Ninth Street, NW, Washington DC 20001.



On Friday, September 17, 2010, you are invited to participate in our annual workshop with the Heads of State panel and a book signing opportunity at the Renaissance Hotel. At this workshop you will have an opportunity to solicited investors that are interested in tourism, Economic Development and investment opportunities in your country. In addition a letter will be sent to all speakers so that you will know in advance what to expect from your audience and their expectation of you. Saturday, September 18, 2010, Ambassador Samson Benjamin, Chairman of IAAAACAME Nigeria would like to invite you as our guest to the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Awards Dinner, a prestigious event that will take place at the Washington Convention Center in Washington DC (keynote speaker President Barack Obama). Seats are limited.



After the CBC Annual Awards Dinner, the California Delegation & International Black Chamber of Commerce and partners will end the evening with the Black & White International Ball Soiree, where you will have a red carpet photo opt and be honored by our congressional representative, California state Senator, California Assemblyman and L.A. Mayor. This will all take place at the Renaissance Hotel, 999th Street N.W. in Washington D.C., across from the Washington Convention Center.




You are cordially invited to attend these illustrious events. The reception will be attended by other African leaders, United States elected officials and a cross section of business communities in the United States. We would also like to extend to you a special opportunity to address the attendees at this event. This will afford you the opportunity to promote your state which is usually a precursor to attracting investors from the United States.




The Congressional Black Caucus is an esteemed and influential body comprising of black elected officials in the United States Congress. This caucus was formed in 1969 and has championed important legislation some of which promote the welfare of the African Continent.
